North East Astronomy Forum (NEAF) 2017

The North East Astronomy Forum is the world’s largest equipment event for amateur and semi-professional astronomers. Much like the Detroit Auto Show (formerly!), this is where manufacturers launch their new products. It takes place in Suffern, about an hour’s drive from New York. This photo was taken in April 2017, my second visit to this exhibition.
It is an event that makes all amateur astronomers salivate and melts bank accounts because distributors can sell merchandise and/or take orders with promotional discounts.
